Tor UK now accepting unagented submissions

Journal Entry: Wed Jan 30, 2013, 4:50 PM
If you're looking for another publishing opportunity, you're in luck: Tor UK just announced that they will be accepting unagented submissions for genre fiction novels from authors both within and outside of the UK.

If you're interested, check out their submission guidelines, edit your novels, and give it a go!

I have to say I like this trend, since it does seem to be a trend by now. I'm not sure if I'll be taking advantage of this one or not, but I'll certainly want to keep it in mind, especially if it goes on for a while!

That's unusual. :o I understood UK was notorious for needing an agent. Maybe that's just film.

Maybe. Also, Tor is kind of known for being a rebel -- they were one of the first (if not the first) publishing houses to offer e-books without DRM.
